The amount of newly issued ICX is a function of the growth rate in the activity on the ICON Network.
The annual issuance rate is approximately 5%~10%, however, the exact rate depends on the P-rep's node operating costs, compensation for DApp providing valuable services, compensation for developers who have a positive impact on the ICON ecosystem, and compensation for ICONists participating in various votes.
